I am Genevieve Murphy, an experienced globetrotter, educator, and entrepreneur celebrated for my dedication to storytelling. Over the past 16 years, my journey has guided me through classrooms in the United States, Japan, and Taiwan, molding me into the passionate educator and empathetic global citizen that I am today.

In 2008, while residing in Japan, a profound transformative experience altered the course of my life. Since then, my mission has been to impart self-awareness, consciousness, healing, and empowerment to my students and clients.

In 2010, I co-founded Know My World, a global educational nonprofit organization committed to infusing classrooms worldwide with social, emotional, and cultural awareness. Through virtual cross-cultural exchanges, student programs, and teacher development training, we’ve been building bridges and fostering understanding.

As an educator, I’ve evolved from an elementary homeroom teacher to the Social and Emotional Learning Coordinator across grades 1-12 at an international school in Taichung. My expertise lies in guiding students toward self-awareness, self-management, and character education.

I’ve shared insights through workshops and webinars on Mindfulness, Social and Emotional Learning, and Cultural Education in diverse locations such as the United States, Japan, Nepal, Taiwan, Thailand, China, and Borneo.

Engaged in the wellness community, my exploration of holistic healing began in 2011 with Reiki. Achieving all three levels of Usui Reiki certification and specializing in Chakra Healing, I co-organized Soul Quest, a weekend workshop retreat focusing on body, mind, and spirit for six years. In 2015, I founded the Align Holistic Wellness Center, offering yoga classes, personal growth workshops, meditation sessions, and healing through Reiki and coaching.

A notable accomplishment includes co-authoring “Unchain Your Inner Warrior,” an Amazon Best Seller on female empowerment, and speaking at a TEDx Youth event in Taichung last March.

In a recent shift, my journey has led me to Taipei, where I now navigate the roles of a solopreneur coach, trainer, and consultant. Aligned with Genevieve, my brand encapsulates the essence of my commitment to personal growth and development.

I have a background in education and my expertise is in teaching students topics related to self-awareness, self-management and character education. I co-founded Know My World, an education based non-profit organization that focuses on Social, Emotional, and Cultural Learning in 2013 and continue to lead it today. In 2011 I was introduced to Reiki healing by a friend and pursued all 3 levels of certification for Usui Reiki as well as a special certification in Chakra Healing. In 2013 I began leading weekly Mindfulness and Meditation sessions in Taichung. This led to establishing Align Holistic Wellness Center where I was able to expand my services to include Reiki healing, and teaching various workshops related to personal growth and development. During this time I also organized a meeting with several community members who worked in the wellness field. This led to the establishment of Soul Quest which I continued to co-organize for the next 6 years. I currently lead group mindfulness sessions online and work with individual clients through coaching and reiki healing. I am in the beginning stages of my next book project as a solo author.
